Blogging here since: this afternoon (August 9, 07) but in myspace much longer.

Why wolfshades: Hmm. Long answer for that one. I'll try to condense. The wolf is my totem of sorts. And I like my sunglasses - a lot. (Although I hasten to add: you'll never see them on me at night. That's dork stuff. Wolfshades doesn't do "dork". Much.)

Name: Doug (by the way - douglas is a name meaning "dark water". I know. I looked it up.)

Country: CANADA!!!!! <-- I love my country.

Occupation: Officially - senior systems analyst. Computer geek extraordinaire. (Between you and me though - I'm getting really *really* bored with it.)

Birthday: March 1.

Favourite color: what? What is this? Ok if someone put a gun to my head it would have to be ..... blue. The kind of blue you see in water along the coral reef. Like this:

Favourite drink: Southern Comfort. Although it's been a long time since I had any. I figure "drink" refers to the alcohol type. Otherwise it's water. Yeah, boring - but I'm ok with that.

Favourite fruit: strawberries.

Favourite desert: M&Ms. I'm *way* too into them. Hence my public commitment to refrain from having any until September. Just to make sure I can do without.

Hobbies: reading. Writing. Roller blading. Watching first-run movies at the theatre. People watching. Used to enjoy debating, but found there aren't many who share that enjoyment. At least not in myspace. People think that if you challenge their viewpoint, it's a personal vendetta or something. This often means they haven't actually thought about why they think the way they do, which shows a lack of self-awareness. Sad, really. Anyone want to challenge me on this one? Anyone? Go ahead - make my day.

Some of the blogs that have posted a picture of me: only one that I can think of. A guy named Wayno on myspace. He's the bf of the popular myspace blogger Stephanie. He recently pimped my blog out. Didn't have to do that - he barely knows me. I appreciate it more than I can say.
